Description
Wooden female Lobi figure with her hands together. It has a split in her back but is still in a good condition.
This Lobi figure was created to protect the family. The figure is not carved after a person, but after a spirit. They were usually placed on family altars. It protects the whole family from sickness and bad luck. It could also be used for divination and was passed on from father to son.
