Description
A fine Ewe woman figure with pained hair and feet. These dolls are also called "venovi" or "venavi". They usually carve twin figures and are used for protection after the death of a twin. The twin figure would be placed in a shrine and treated with much respect. In most cases the doll was cleaned and fed by the Ewe woman, and sometimes was even used as a child replacement doll.
