Description
A Ashanti/Asante comb with a bit of wear and tear and splits. The condition of this comb is moderate to good. Wooden carved combs were worn by the Akan people from Ghana. The combs could be given as a gift and were also presented at marriages. A woman could own one or more combs depending on her wealth, status or beauty.
