Description

This unique double faced carved figure, also known as Bateba Phuwe usually have no specific defining posture and are often figures with their arms down. They are are looking straight ahead and often have a grim look on the face. These figures can have a variety of different functions. This Lobi figure has traces of feathers/hair on it and was most likely used for offerings or cermonies.
